Born and raised in Patchogue, Mike started Cirigliano Agency in 2014.  Right from the start, his agency was a reliable and trusted place to meet the needs of the public’s insurance and financial advisory services.  Under Mike’s guidance and leadership, the agency has been awarded the Honor Ring Award, the Circle of Champions Awards, and the Premier Agency designation reflecting the high standards of service and commitment.

Michael is profoundly committed to community service and improving the lives of those he meets along the way, especially the underserved.  When the opportunity presented itself, Michael did not shy away from taking on a challenging role and embarked on establishing a location for Gigi’s Playhouse, a non-profit organization providing free educational and therapeutic programs for those with Down’s Syndrome and other developmental disabilities, all done as a volunteer.  He has served as its financial chair of the start up committee, securing the necessary funds to cover a year’s worth of operational expenses before opening its doors.  In 2020, he was appointed President of the Board and continues to hold this position today.  Mike is also a member of Gigi’s National Board Development Committee.  Most recently, Mike secured two 1 million dollar grants to purchase a permanent building.

Michael serves as an active member of the Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition within the Products and Services Committee and the fundraising committee for the Patchogue Theater.  He is an active member of the Patchogue Rotary Club, currently holding a seat on their Board and helping with the organization and operations of several projects.  Mike’s commitment to his community also extends to sponsoring the Lioness Lions Foundation Walk for a Guide Dog, the Rotary Irish Wake, the MCA annual golf outing, Stick it to Cancer Floor Hockey event at Patchogue-Medford High School, as well as serving as a member of the Finance Committee and Chair of the Family Fun Event Committee within the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce.  He currently holds the title of 3rd Vice-President for the Chamber of Commerce. His dedication to the Chamber extends to planning and organizing the annual New Year’s Eve Midnight on Main Street, and is involved with Circus on Main, Art Dash for the Patchogue YMCA, Alive After Five, and the August Family Fun Night.  Mike is dedicated to organizing yearly events, activities and entertainment for the community’s enjoyment.

A 2017 Patchogue-Medford Hall of Fame inductee, as a member of the 1997 Patchogue-Medford Varsity Football team, Mike is a proud sponsor of a plethora of local sports teams and at times has been seen coaching some of these teams.  He is a proud supporter of local school PTAs, Patchogue YMCA, PMYCS and the local Library.  Mike has made significant contributions to his community, reflecting loyalty to improving the lives of others.
