PMHS Hall of Fame Booster Club
During the fall of 2019, the Patchogue-Medford Hall of Fame Booster Club, in conjunction with the Patchogue-Medford School District and High School, initiated the formation of the Patchogue-Medford High School Hall of Fame Club. The mission of this club is to work closely with the adult Booster Club by volunteering at Hall of Fame events, assisting with the identification of potential future inductees and lending student voices to the goals and mission of the Patchogue Medford Hall of Fame Booster Club, Inc.
Under the leadership and guidance of Faculty Advisor, Foreign Language Teacher, Chryse Sacco, the club began meeting and planning out their agenda, as an integral part of the Hall of Fame project. Students participating in the Hall of Fame club accrue community service credit, which they can apply to scholarship and college admission applications.
Student members of the Patchogue-Medford High School, Hall of Fame Club will learn about the Mission and Vision of the Patchogue-Medford Hall of Fame Booster Club, Inc. Students will gain an appreciation for those individuals and teams that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, in addition to those business leaders, organizations and community members who have helped to promote the Hall of Fame project. Students will assist with the existing Hall of Fame promotions, events and committees and be responsible to research and create new initiatives, from the student perspective, to support the HOF project. Students will have the opportunity to accrue community service hours through their participation within the Hall of Fame Club.
